Ion Exchange
- Ion exchange resins are used to remove dissolved ions.
- 1) Chemicals to regenerate are less due to counter current process.
2) Regeneration time is less than the conventional process.
3) Design according to the water quality requirements is possible.
Microfiltration, Ultrafiltration
- UF and MF are used to remove bacteria and suspended solids.
- MF:Particle size 0.01μm～10μｍ
UF:MWCO 1,000-300,000
Reverse Osmosis
- RO is used to remove dissolved ions and molecular substances.
- RO: MWCO ～350
Electrodeionization
- Ion exchange membranes remove ions from the raw water.
- Since electricity is used to regenerate, regenerant chemicals are not needed.
